I would like to replace the forward hatch on my 1990 model year Hunter 35.5. The existing "cut out" is approximately 19 1/2" x 19 1/2", and the existing smoked plexiglass(?) lid is 23 3/4" x 23 3/4". Has anyone had any experience with this? Recommendations as to manufacturer and specific model? Ideally, I would like something that could be dropped in and fastened down, without additional or significant cutting or fabrication.
