I was given a 1977 Cal21 this morning and it's missing the swing keel and the forward hatch is split in the middle about 2" from the hinges i was wondering where could I find the replacements for a Cal21 of this vintage? I'm east of Fort Benning in the middle of nowhere and I'll be starting sailing lessons April 25th so I'm hoping that I can get either my San Juan 21 MKII Restored or my Cal21 keel and other things straightened out.
Forward hatch is damaged where can I get a replacement?

Hi @Bobby1959 welcome to the forum. You have a bit of work to accomplish be for the 25th. The keel being the most challenging.
The keel is 400 lbs of metal. If it is missing you may have the best luck seeking a replacement from a boat salvage yard. It is not just the metal. You need the right shape and a pivot hole in the correct place.
Regarding the hatch, if you have one of the old 69/70 boats it maybe a wood frame with a center piece of plexiglass or acrylic.
I removed the old fore hatch on my 1974 cal 35, and replaced it with a lewmar model 70 ocean hatch.
