Forward hatch dimension

Can someone measure the fore hatch opening on their older (pre-90) 27' I'm making a screen opening and my boat is in its cradle 100 miles from here. Thanks!!

Hatch dimension

Which hatch do you have? My 1988 has the smoke plastic see through hatch and 1984-1987 has the fiberglass hatch. Jeff
