Forward hatch cover

Want to replace my original forward hatch cover with one made of plxiglass in order to get in more light. When partially open, the original hatch isnt always noticed and has been stepped on. No damage yet (to cover or mate), but only a matter of time. Thanks.

Rick - Catalina Direct has a plexiglass hatch for $450. I haven't used one, but you can get more info from their web site at http://www.catalinadirect.com/ Good luck - BILL

Rick; I purchased one of the plexiglass hatches from Catalina Direct and am generally happy with it. The only problem I had is that the fit on the C-38 was not very good. I fixed the problem by putting in an oversized gasket to seal hatch and it worked satisfactorily.It does a great job letting in light to the V-berth. Craig "Wings" C-38 #250
