I ran across a cool little product last week: a pocket-size LED work light that has a magnetic clip with a swivel and is blindingly -- and I mean painfully -- bright.

We're selling them at cost + plus credit card fees: $8.76 including shipping. It's the lowest price we found anywhere.

I've got one of these little buggers for my firefighting gear. Bright barely describes the amount of illumination it produces. Please don't look into the light when you turn it on. (It will erase your night vision for two days.)

The black clip on the underside of Phil's picture rotates through 180° making it easy to stick onto a metallic surface and shine on your work area. Grab one while you can.

Ordered two this morning as soon as I saw the ad.. I think I have a thing for flashlights.. I probably have a dozen of the little Harbor Freight give-aways around the house and boat. This one looks good.

Last year I used one of those, and at night shine it outside of the enclosure, straight up, and could see the entire sail plan. (Large boat). Cool light.

If your plate is carbon steel, yes. That would quite convenient for hanging worklights and finding lost bolts.

Ordered a couple- Thanks for the notice.
I found some LED lights at Northern tool that are designed to fit over you finger. I have placed them on tools etc. very handy.

I picked mine up last year at Batteries Plus.
I use it all the time. It even works well in tight spaces, like under the covers.
Maybe there is a store near you.........

I doubt it's waterproof, or floats. However, they are tough as a fifty cent steak. I have had one for about two years, and have dropped, kicked, thrown it, lost and found it, have got it WAY more than damp a few times, and it keeps going.
It it easily my number one work light..
