Forum access

Have a perplexing problem and apologize if it should be posted elsewhere. Several days ago, access to the forums stopped working. I thought the site could be having issues and thought nothing of it. Fast forward to today and still no access. Turns out I cannot access from the Internet from computer ,iPad, or iPhone-wifi or Ethernet . I CAN go anywhere else on the Internet - wifi or Ethernet. I can access through the cell system. Everything has been rebooted etc. I have an inquiry into Phil but he prolly won't see it til Monday. Any ideas?

But... If I can see your post, are you not accessing the forum? When you say you can't access the forum, what exactly do you see? Are you using the app or trying to log in directly from the internet? Have you been logged out, and you need to log in again? Did you try clearing your history and cache to make your browser retrieve the site again? Can you access it from another location or computer? If you can access it from the cell, are you accessing a mobil site, the full site, or the app? Thanks, Andrew

I can only acces through the cell phone with wifi turned off. I cannot access through wifi or Ethernet on my network. No network changes had been made.

I have not tried on another wifi network yet. Going to have to find one

And I can access sbo store but not a home page or forum I've tried through the apps and browser

Have you tried signing-in?

By lack screen saying. "Logging in" and then times out

I've had that same problem off and on. Especially with the iPhone / iPad ap. When signing in it will spool and spool and then time out.
If I turn wifi off and just cellular data it will work fine.

It's a problem that comes and goes. Last month or so it hasn't occurred.

I've kind of attributed it to my internet provider or some occasional instability with the site.

Have you tried a VPN? As in virtual private network? It's not typical way, but it should differ your IP, so, maybe a try?..

Now ur in uncharted waters for me. Was at the yacht club last night discussing with the Commodore who is an IT kinda guy. He was saying SBO is not resolving the DNS. Kinda sounded like I need a new IP address. With computers, I'm a plug it in and it needs to work kinda guy. I really have ZERO interest in the how...and why did it work for years and all of a sudden BAM..I'm dead. And for only one website..

Mark, send me the ip address from your home network. Go to http://www.myipaddress.com

We have automated software that blocks a portion of a network after a certain number of suspicious hits (404 errors, posts, etc.). It cuts a tremendous amount of garbage and server load but also blocks innocent users now and then.
