The toggle pin (not sure if that is the proper term) that threads into the bottom of the forestay turnbuckle snapped off in the turnbuckle. Where can I find a replacement turnbuckle and toggle pin for a Hunter 19? Thought it would be simple to find replacement parts, but no luck yet..

I've had to replace several shroud toggles and found them at West Marine and also a local (non-chain) marine supplier. I would try hard to get the old piece of broken toggle out of the old turnbuckle because a replacement turnbuckle may not fit the threads on your headstay connection. Each manufacturer's thread diameters are a tad different even though the same nominal size. Use the old turnbuckle or you might find yourself replacing the headstay. When you buy the new toggle, bring your old turnbuckle with you to be sure the toggle fits your turnbuckle.

Kind regards

Hugh

in order for the turnbuckle body to turn, the threads on the opposite must be in adverse to one another for lack of terms, therefore one is left hand and the other is right hand. Hugh is so correct about diff. manufacturers size so his suggestion to take the turnbuckle body in is a good one.
