The tuning guide on the national site suggests setting the measurement from the masthead to bow at 27' 0". Try as I might, I cannot get this measurement. Even with everything loose the best/longest is 26' 11". What am I doing wrong? sparky
Try tightning your backstay a little to rake the mast back. This should increase the forestay length. Also, double check that you are allowing for the correct forestay shacke lengh ajustment. Mine had rigging tape on the end which added another couple of inches to the total forestay length when it was jammed at the masthead. Hope this helps Jason
