Forestay measurement for CDI fuler - deck hardware

I'm adding a CDI furler to my 240. The installation guide calls for measuring the forestay length from the top toggle to the bottom toggle. The 240 has a T-hook at the top instead of a toggle. I'm just not sure what point to measure from on the T-hook to get the forestay length for trimming the foil. Any advice from the folks who have installed a furler would be a help. Also, the suggested deck hardware installation is a forward bullseye fairlead, mounted on the side of the deck, below the shear line. This is followed by another fairlead farther aft at the same height, up to a stanchion mounted fairlead on the stanchion at the front of the cabin top, and back to the cockpit. Anyone have any comments or suggestions on this layout? Any help would be appreciated. Marc B

I'm planning this installation in the spring......not quite sailing season in Indiana., I will need the answers to these questions in mid april. Could you post your installation steps in the 240 info area somewhere so I can refer to them when I start looking for these answers?

Hey Marc, if I get to the boat Saturday I will get that measurement for you. I can tell you that you will want your furler installed and the rig standing before you mount the fairleads. This will allow you to get the correct angle on the furling line so it wont tangle when rolling up the jib. Carl & Suzi h240 Relentless
