Does anyone know what the fasteners are securing the forestay bracket on a o'day 25...screws or bolts...and any idea of the size and length.

They will be bolts. 5/16 or 3/8 diameter... probably 5/16.
It would be hard to tell the length without pulling one.
But expect them to be about 1.5" long on top and 1" on the stem strap...
