I've had a Force Ten 3 burner w/oven and broiler stove for about five years. The electronic sparker has quit working and I'm sure it is the battery that has finally died. Problem is, I can't find the battery??? Does any know where the thing is located?? Thanks in advance... Ron

no battery

Ron, If it is like an outside grill it use pezoelectric effect and uses no battery, a button is used to apply a pressure to a cristal that converts that pressure to a voltage that "jumps" a gap, that creates the spark. Sometime the cyristal get broken or "wears" out. replacement is a snap

Hmmmm...... The reason I thought it had a battery is that if you hold the button in it will continue to spark (when working). You don't have to keep pushing it to make it spark again??? What do you think??? Ron

Force 10 ignition

On most of their galley ranges, the double A battery is located on the right hand stove side, bottom, front, inner corner. directly behind the model and serial #. If your unit is the 2 burner drop in type, it most likely does not have a battery and has the push piezo type ignition similar to a home grill. if this does not help, write force 10 @ sales@force10.com wilma
