Foot Pump - $_8(&$

Just replaced this foot pump and managed to pump about 2 gallons before it more or less stopped working. what gives?

Now I'm looking for an electric transfer pump that can work with salt water. Any recommendations?

I've used that pump for years without issue (except forgetting to winterize it) It could be that there was crap in the line that has lodged under the check valve seats. I'd take it apart.

It made a loud crunching noise from the start. I'm just too disgusted with it to be rational.

If it's new get a warrantee replacement. If it's a hand-me-down- rebuild it.

I use this 12 vdc transfer pump to remove water from my bilge. It has impeller in front of it. $ 54.00 at Harbour Freight Tools.
