Ahi is a great dish! I’ve heard of Zuckerellos but haven’t dined there. We were supposed th have been in the Bahamas last spring with an option to go back down to the eastern Caribbean...but ended up hunkered down in Key West since the holidays.

Ok started working on the forrepeak. Tank inspection is top of the list so I got everything dismantled and purchased a large inspection cover from Poo Marine. Outside of the tank appear solid which is good! I took out the fill level gauge to take a peak and I had forgotten about the baffles. There are at least 2 one running fore and aft and another amidships. So Im trying to figure out if Im best served by getting 4 smaller ones or cutting directly in the center, notching the cover plate to fit around these and having reduced access. Already asked B757Captain if he recalls what it looks like on the inside.

Well the sediment in the tank turned out to be corrosion :( So this weekends job is pretty much going to be sticking my arm down through small holes and wire wheeling by feel!! Joy

On the subject of the forward holding tank I was wondering why hunter did not just glass in a portion of the hull vs the tiny tank that is set in there. Not only would that have increased the holding volume but it would have acted like an emergency crash bulkhead, preventing flooding in case a collision in the bow area caused enough damage to split the fiberglass.
