Brought my O Day 27 home from the warehouse this weekend to start the re-fit and paint. The only problem is that last night it snowed again. Sunshine again in two day's. The deck has been re-done and just needs a little fairing and paint. Michael..

2 Interior new rebuild, not installed yet.
3 Soft decks repaired.
4 New cushion covers sewn.

1 New paint inside and out, Awl grip out sprayed.
2 Re-install interior counters
3 increase water tankage to 40 gallons
4 Install new 3 blade fixed prop
5 Install new chart plotter and compass
6 Build new dodger
7 New bottom paint, SR Trinidad hard
8 Splash
9 Sea trials
10 Set course for La Paz...........

Still here, still reading. Great to see another restorer at work. I will be looking forward to your progress RubyJean. 3 more days to the grand kerplunk.
I'm hoping to splash July 4,2013. Need to sail south before Labor Day, as the North Pacific becomes un-friendly after that. Wanting to spend the winter in La Paz, Mexico. I have a friend there now begging me to come down and have a couple drinks with him. Works for me...Michael..
Interior is near completion, new paint and galley and head are nearly finished. Started re-setting deck hardware today. Staying on schedule so far. Mexico, here we come, at least after October{ after hurricane season}.

I'm in and enjoying the hell out of getting to sail mine. Wish you all the best in your endeavor. Take your time as there will always be some headache or another to attend when you launch. Mine was the fuel separator that had rusted through. Now I have the new electronic fuel pump and conditioning filter for the Atomic 4. Nice easy unit and less terrifying than sprays of gasoline in the boat.

Boomer is coming along. Working on second bulkhead....slow but steady progress.

Yep, Mom's get highest priority. I'm trying to get the settings right to post my pics. More glassing today port fwd. put in second bulkhead tomorrow or Sat.
Thanks for the pics. I see much better cabinetry in yours. Also it looks as though you've got the dinette arrangement. You re-cored your deck..right? That's on my list too.

The previous owner re-cored using west system, he did a very nice job. I only have to fair a little and re-install all hardware and paint. Will be using Dyneema for the life lines, have great sucess with this material. This O Day has never seen saltwater before, so should be in very good condition. My Atomic bomb has a complete re-build with about 15 minutes on this new build. Can you believe that this boat was given to me????? as in free...... Michael..
