...on getting my 18-month old on the boat with us. I posted here a month and a half ago looking for safety advice, and lots of people obliged. She's now taken 2 successful rides with my wife and me. The first was just a quick motor; we had barely cast off when we turned around and came back. Yesterday, we went out for about an hour and managed to get the genoa up to sail for most of that time. I guess she's a born sailor, because she was whiny and cranky while the motor was running, but settled down and enjoyed herself once the sail was hoisted. Thanks again to everybody for the large response to my call for advice.
