In a post a few months ago, I complained about my Jabsco ParMax fresh water pump cycling on and off with no apparent leaks in the plumbing. The pump was original equipment on the 2000 H340 that I acquired last fall. Following the advice of Steve D (Thanks Steve), I sent the pump back to the C E Beckman company in New Bedford MA who provides factory service for Jabsco pumps (see link). They called me four days later to say that the diaphragm in the pressure switch was torn and they replaced the entire switch, inspected and tested the rest of the unit and did some other minor repairs, all for under $70. That includes their $27 labor/bench charge. The replacement pump would have been about ~$160. The Admiral and I will be able to sleep peacefully again.
