I know Dave personally

I know Dave uses his system down islands, when he visited Cuba, and in the Chesapeake. He tells me it works extremely well for the price. I have known him since I worked with him in the late 70s and he is a gentleman. It is his product, and he will stand by the level of performance he guarantees to you. Please note, however, this is a personal reference, not a product reference.

We also have Follow ME TV and it works great. We used it from the Chesapeake Bay all of the Way down to Puerto Rico. We had to stop because we required a bigger dish as we were to far away from the sat's that serve the US markets. They become to low on the horizon to get a clear signal.While in Bonaire one of the boats next to was using it with Venezeulan Directv as well.Worth every penny!

Can you use the same reciever as in the house

or does it require you to pay for 2 services.

You can use the same reciever as at home. Just take it with you, plug it in.

For the price

We ported our back and forth until we bought a TIVO. For the cost of adding a receiver ($5/mth) we left it on the account when we upgrade to a dual TIVO. This way we didn't have to deal with plugging and carrying it back and forth.I believe the more time you take it on and off the boat the better the odds of it going swimming!
