I would like to buy a folding propellor for our 1989 C-30. Is it possible to buy one on-line and install it myself? If so, does anyone know the size, pitch, and general dimensions of what would fit? Where can I buy one? Thanks CM

Gori

CM I recently installes a Gori folding prop, the best thing I ever did. Its a 17 inch 3 blade. I have a C380 so I would expect a C30 would be require a smaller unit. Go to gori-propeller.dk There you will find the closest agent, you can give them all your boat details ie-: Engine model, boat specs, etc and they will calculate what size you need. The beauty of the gori is they actually have a unique design where you can select 2 drive modes. When the prop is folded in its closed position and you engage forward the prop goes straight into in normal power drive position. When you want to motor/sail you first engage reverse give it a few revs and then engage forward, it is now in overdrive, whats basically happened is its driving on the opposite side of the blade which has more pitch. Its great for light and heavy wind conditions. They are more expensive than most but worth every cent. Good Luck
