Would like to learn from O'Day 28 owners what folding prop they may have installed. Gori? Martec? Max? Positive results? I am getting conflicting info about specs. 1984 prop specs seem to be 12" diameter and 11" pitch. But I measured a pre-1984 O'Day 28 fixed 2-blade prop (exact year unknown) and the diameter is 14". However, I could not determine the pitch. Gori recommends a 14" diameter folding two blade. Help.

You may pick up fractions of a knot under sail, but will loose some control in reverse under power. Are you racing or cruising? Think about the tradeoff before you change.

I'm saving my pennies for a campbell motor sailor. Supposed to give much better performance without creating much more drag

Mine has been repowered with a Yanmsr 2GM20 and performance is good other than the prop
