folding a head sail

What is the proper way to fold and store a head sail. I currently have a furling system but I need to send the sail off for some repair. Is there a proper way to fold the sail?

Flake it like a mainsail

..And then roll it up

Flaking is the basic idea. Keep the luff of the sail "straight", have the leech come in as you flake and then roll into a somewhat loose bundle.
