Foam luff or rope luff on a genoa?

Trying to get some feed back on who thinks which one is better. North Sails does the rope luff. Claims they don’t have the foam mold problems and that the rope does not have the out of shape twist foam will gets after awhile. I do know the rope cost more, but it also seem it would hold a better shape when furled. Thanks, BOB

Rope Luff

Bought a new set of sails from North Direct last year for my C30. I was unsure about the rope luff at first, but have found it to be quite satisfactory. I recommend it.
