I'm considering adding positive foam flotation to my Oday 222. Does anyone know of a good source for closed cell foam and how much (in cubic ft.) would be needed to provide adequate flotation under swamped conditions? Thanks.
Read my message about the O'day 37 in the Bigger Boat Forum. I have read that the best way to add positive floatation (from people who have experimented with it) is to either add packing peanuts or ping pong balls. I personally prefer packing peanuts for they are cheap and do not risk to produce any noise once installed.
