I have a small (1/8") hole thru the hull of my ericson 28+. My manual says that the hulls are a laminate of fiberglass with a foam core. I have plugged the hole from the inside out, but am concerned that water may be getting in from outside and so between the layers of the fiberglass and foam core. Does anyone know if the foam core will absorb water and delaminate the area? I will be having hauled out and repaired right, but was hopeing to wait until the fall.
