Went out yesterday and ran out of air. I was on a run with my genoa out on the whisker pole and the air dropped to 0-2 knots, not enough to even fill my 135. Got bored fast and dug out my sym spin. Furled the 135, put a short line to the leading edge and wrapped it around my furled jib low just above my furler drum then ran a sheet back to my winch and hoisted it. Took a little tuning but but I was moving while every one else was dead in the water. I didn't think I had enough air to fly it as a sym spin and always wanted to try this anyway.

Cool beans! Glad to see someone figuring out how to do things that nature never intended. I have a pole but no place to attach it to the mast. I can't help but think it would make wing-on-wing easier with the jib.
