We have a Hunter 2001 380 and have had a couple problems with the pump in the Jabsco head leaking. One of the times it was not effectively pumping the waste away and effluent was backing up into the toilet. We replaced the pump twice so far and this time everything seems fine. My question is: Could the fact that we use only fresh water from the adjacent shower hose be the culprit? Does flushing with sea water keep parts in the pump lubricated and in working order? We also had problems with leakage after using vinegar as was suggested by the Head Mistress, Peggy Hall.
