I have a 1986 Hunter 28.5 with the Yanmar 2GM20F diesel. Can anyone out there provide me with some instructions, including "do's and don'ts", for flushing the fresh water side of the cooling system? Any advice appreciated.
The valves on the steering cable side of the engine should open to let the coolant flow out. Not to be confused with the valve on top, which is an air release of some kind. Check the Yanmar site too.
