Has anyone ever changed the inside sloped floor on the 1980's 30 ft to a flat cabin floor , have had a couple of broken ankles and find it hard to walk on slope

I've been "toying" with the idea on my other boat about this for awhile. I would LOVE to see some kind of teak, or the facsimile thereof. The question would be, can I/you give up the head room?
