I was in FLL the other day and was admiring the large vessels docked off the Bahia Mar hotel. One of them was one of the largest sloops I have ever seen. The mast dwarfed that of the Catalina 47 that was almost next to it. The ship itself must have been well over 100 feet. The boat didn't have any identifying markers that I saw, but it did have a huge notice on it that it was seized by the US goverment. I certainly was one of the most impressive boats I have ever seen. Just the transom, with it's double sweeping stairs up to the massive teak deck, looked as if it was ready for a starring role in a James Bond movie. I could just see a scantily clad Bond girl taking advantage of it's hydraulically lowered ramp to expose the watertoys behind it!! Since I have a feeling I am going to win the jackpot soon I wonder if anyone has any information on this boat by any chance?
