Soft Tank
I have an O'Day 25, the previous owner replaced the hard tank for potable water with a soft tank. It is installed in the V-berth area, the securing clips for the corners are epoxyed down and then the protective bag for the tank is clipped to them. I have not had any problems with the set up. You just have to be careful about what you store on top of the soft tank.
