I've been gradually upgrading my interior and one of the winter projects I'm looking at is going from carpet to a solid surface floor in the salon. The options I'm considering are:
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Nu Teak in the interior. They're the only ones I've found with darker wood tones for interiors.
Or if anyone has experience with Nu Teak or Flexi Teak in the cockpit. I think Hunter uses Flexi Teak on some of their new boats. My concern with using either product in the cockpit is that it will be too hot for bare feet. I've worked with Trex decking and it can get hot enough to burn the soles of your feet.
Thanks,
Jim
- T&G wood floor
- Teak & Holly marine plywood
- Nu Teak Mahogany & Holly vinyl floor
- Also considering Flexi Teak or Nu Teak on the cockpit sole
I'm experienced working with wood, so I know the pros/cons of T&G vs. plywood. - Teak & Holly marine plywood
