Flat Screen TV's to install

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone's has had experience with certain brands of mounts. and/or vendors to go to. for mounting hardware. I'm a new owner of a 1997 Hunter 376 and want to install TV's in both the Salon and Master Stateroom. Salon is going to have to be a wall mount or bracket of some sort. Master Stateroom is think i'm trying to find a mount that i could attach to the wood shelf behind the seat. Maybe like some sort of a desktop type mount. There again I have no experience in this item so i'm reaching out to my fellow sailors for some direction.

There are so many different types of mounts and you should just do a search
for TV mounts depending on size of TV and I have a wall mount for my 20'' TV
and my mount moves the TV for different angles for in my main cabin.
I looked on internet and found many different options for what ever install
you need.

At the boat show in Chicago and one of the big manufacturers was using a mount maker called "erad"

I have gotten so much info on the internet for TV mounting for my 2 45''
TV's at home and the one I have on the boat and they have all kinds if you need one that swings out for better viewing and great prices for good mounts.

Just buy a model that is either dual AC/DC or DC only.. It will be a LOT more efficient on DC than going; DC to AC then back to DC again......

Lots of mounts available. You may want to consider one that allows you to move your TV from one position to another without unscrewing the TV.

You also need to have an antenna solution for both positions.

One that does not allow TV to swing when a BIG WAVE hits is a must, especially if you are heeling at the time. I opted for a rigid version, shimmed out bracket for best angle.

You might want to consider mounting it on an arm at the nav station. Swivels so everybody in the salon can see it when needed and makes a dandy plotter when turned toward the nav seat.
I've had mine for 5 years now and have gone through some pretty rough passages and it has not had any trouble holding the TV steady
