First some background:My new H356 has a stainless steel flagstaff holder mounted on the stern rail. It has a 1" inside diameter. Flag etiquette calls for a flag's horizontal length to be 1" for each foot of boat length. In the case of the 356, that translates to a 36"x24" flag, which is a very common size that is readily available. Flag etiquette also calls for a flagstaff to measure twice the length of the flag's vertical length, which in this case would be 48".Now the question:I cannot find any source for a flagstaff that measures 48" long with a 1" diameter. All of the 48" flagstaffs seem to be 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Does anybody know of a source for the size I need? Thanks for any advice.Pete LoewensteinS/V Sh'boom
