My H-28 has 2 triple rope clutches, one stbd and one port. The port middle clutch was slipping. I examined it and found the stopper cleat was not come down all the way. I sprayed it with PB lube and worked it until it lessen up. I also cleaned inside where the stopper track are with a tooth brush. WORK ALMOST LIKE NEW!!! My white handles on the triple rope clutches had black alga growing in them. I took them off and soaked them in bleach for a couple of hour (not too long they delaminate). Then I applied server coats of wax. Looking good, working good and easy to do. I love it when a plan comes together!
