Ok, Sunday was my first chance at taking the boat out this weekend. We sailed out of Cadle Creek in Edgewater, putted around the river for a bit, then went back in. All in all it was a great sail, I only used the mainsail, and had to remember how to sail again.
but it was fun. When we got back to the marina, pulled the boat out on the trailer, I was looking around it for anything noticeable. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary. I got in the cabin to remove our gear for the day, and took a look in the bilge area to see if any water made it in. Before we left, I had pumped most of the water that was in there out. But when I openned the hole the water was about an inch below cabin floor height... Is this normal? Where would it leak in from, as the cabin walls were dry, and I couldn't find any "noticable" cracks or holes anywhere on the hull... Correction there was one small crack at the back, that didn't seem like it would leak as bad as that...Is it possible I didn't pump ALL of the water out, and what I saw had moved into that area from motion? I'm afraid to take her out again until I can solve the problem...
