It's been a long long winter here in SW Oregon this year. due to weather, we didn't sail a single day last October, and here it is late April and we're still picking (rare) one day here and one day there to get on the water. We're mad as heck, and just couldn't take it anymore
. Friday 21st was forecast as the first sunny day, with less than 10% chance of rain, for a week+ and Sat looked a bit cloudy but decent also. Sunday was a very iffy forecast, so naturally we decided to play them all!. it turned out to be a pretty good hand
. Friday was indeed beautiful, if a bit light on wind. Saturday was blustery, but great sailing, with a double reef in the main all afternoon/evening. Sunday was downright chilly, and a few ultra light sprinkles, but still created smiles. The good news, I guess, is that our "main" sailing lake (Howard Prairie) is now 100% full for the first time since 2011. yee-ha. HP lake is a high mountain lake, so we're still sailing Lost Creek Lake, at a lower (warmer) elevation, for another month or so however.
I goofed and had the camera on B&W for a wile, but we don't sweat this little stuff anymore
