First Catalina ever built?

I've seen this boat around Dana Point Harbor for years, but never really thought much about it.
Is it the first?
Seems like it should be rescued. Maybe Catalina Yachts would want it.

Nope that's an imposter. The real C22 Hull #1 has quite a storied past and was owned by Catalina Yachts until this past summer. It is now in the hands of the Catalina 22 association and owned by one of the members. It is quite different from a normal 22 on the inside and was setup to climb in and around during Nationals this year. I saw it myself in Oklahoma and it indeed is a piece of Trailer sailing history.
