I used to launch and retrieve my Lido 14 with a 1965 Dodge van by use of a hitch on the front bumper, so I'd push it down the ramp that way and back it up to retrieve. If the rear "polyglass" tires of the era ever got wet I'd have been sunk on the ramp.
