I bought my 2004 First 36.7 last September, and it spent the winter in the water. I hauled Monday and see that the zincs need replacement. But I'm confused about which to get and the boats user manual was no help. The engine is the MD2030 and I'm pretty sure the saildrive is the 120S. I have a 2 blade folding propeller.
It seems like I need 3 things:
From BoatZincs:
3858399A - Penta 3 piece collar propeller anode
851983A - Penta 120 saildrive anode and mounting screws
852018 - Penta folding propeller anode
Also it seems I could replace the 851983A with:
Penta 120 saildrive split ring anode adapter kit
851983 - Penta 120 split ring anode
But, I don't understand where the 852018 goes or even if I really need it.
Is this right? Do I need any other anodes anywhere?
Also, do I need to change the oil in the saildrive while I'm hauled? How do I do that?
Thanks...
