I purchased a hunter 240 in October and found a large crack in the hull upon getting it home.
That occured from a messed up trailer situation. I have had the trailer and hull repaired. The hull is gelcoat finished and not bottom painted. It hasen't been in the water once yet.
But when I picked the boat up from being repaired. I found a couple of spots that have spiderweb type cracks below the waterline, where the guy had boat jacks supporting the boat while the work was done.
It has been real cold here I am thinking that is why the cracks possibly.
Should I be concerned as the guy that repaired the boat said I shouldn't worry about it and enjoy the boat. My instincts are telling me they should not be thear.
I am new to sailing and this is my first sailboat. I tend to be a perfectionist, but I just dont need any more boat problems. Should I be concerned or just let it go?
Thanks
