Ahoy, I'm looking at buying my first boat. Even though it's my first boat and I am not planning on circumnavigating out of the box, I'd like to sail it in the San Francisco Bay and other occasionally unkindly waves. So I'd like some hull strength and seaworthiness, plus I'd like to be able to do more eventually. I'd be glad to have input on some seaworthy 25'-27' boats I might be able to find a good deal on; that are also trailering-friendly since my boat will be parked on a trailer in my backyard and will need to be able to go in on a ramp. I assume trailering and blue-water are not the best of friends. But my main question is this: I've been looking at A LOT of boats. I find that the majority are in slips. I've found a few good deals, but I need the trailer. Where can I find trailers? I'm specifically interested in smaller Ericsons 25'-27' but I haven't settled on anything yet, so any input on finding trailers in general would be good as well as specifically for Ericsons. Thanks.
