Question for Alan

Would your vent whistle (a great idea!) work if you refueled from a gerry can and so had a pretty low flow rate compared to the much faster rate of a regular fuel dock hose?

Early on in this thread, Bill asked a similar question about a slow fill through a water separator funnel. I'll tell you the same I told him. Blowing very slowly through the Fuel Whistle the sound was still very evident. The key is to force all the escaping air trough the vent. If you decide to buy and try and it doesn't work to your satisfaction, I'll refund your money. This device was conceived to solve an environmental problem that nobody seemed to have a solution for. If there is a better way to handle the spill issue, I have not found it.

Specs

It is a great tow vehicle, 5.3L V8, trailer tow package (transmission cooler, receiver hitch to 12k, locking differential, etc), has the LT package, which is all the bells and whistles (my favorite are the heated leather 10 way power front bucket seats), Bose speakers with 6 in dash CD player, matching fiberglass shell, and more. Only 12k miles, must sell, getting a bigger truck to haul a bigger trailer.

Well, Thanks to Bill's suggestion...

...I have contacted Phil and he has decided that the Fuel Whistles will be available for sale in the 'Chandlery' on this site. They should be available there shortly.
