Final Electrical Fire Update

Afew months ago I had an electrical fire. Earl Mathiesen of Mathiesen Marine just finished a complete rewire and update of my entire system.:dance: If any of you bay area sailors need any electronic updates I would highly recommend Mathiesen Marine! I have attached some before and after photos. I will be out on the Bay all weekend and I hope everybody has a great weekend on the water.

Great that you have recovered!

What's the name of your boat? Will try to look for you. My boat is "Wildaire". I am planning to sail around the central bay this weekend as well. I've got the only sail on the bay with "0 0" numbering. (per the pic)

The AC45's have been out this mid-week practicing for the World Series races later this month. I got a few pictures of the Swedish team on their first day on the bay this past Tuesday ....

I cannot really tell from the last pics, but storage compartment with the batteries looks to still have carbon on the surface of the compartment. IF that is the condition, I would prep and paint an insulating surface around the batteries.

Helps prevent future discharges when the battery leads are removed from terminals for service

Rardi, the name of my boat is Voluspa, my sail number is 21, I would love to see you out there. Waternwaves thanks for the info.
