When trying to do a quick repair and fill a small "smile" on the C-30, any recommendations as to an appropriate filler? Seems like my boat in the past has been repaired with a combination of fiberglass and filler. Appreciate any input.

Don't bother

If there's no sign of leakage and, as you say, it's small...why bother? If a previous owner tried to "repair" it with fiberglass and it didn't work, nothing "easy" will do the trick. Just leave it unless there's a problem. LaDonna

5200

3M 5200 is a permanent flexible sealant appropriate for underwater use. It's commonly used to bed iron and lead external keels. If the crack has returned after using fiberglass and filler to fill the crack, then the keel must be moving a small amount, relative to the hull.
