Gus -- Fiberglass arch
Gus, I can't add any thing more to what Larry has suggested--I think he is correct. Generally Hunter will do most anything a buyer wants. But I wanted to add this bit about the fibreglass arch. Back in the late eighties, I design a stainless steel arch for a Hunter 40. I thought it would be slick, but, unfortuneatly, I never got around to having it built. I just bugged my poor wife about it and she would nod sagely. When we got our present Hunter 380 (1999), Hunter was about two years into making fibreglass arches and I was dissapointed that they didn't make a stainless steel arch. Never-the-less, we bought our Hunter with the fibreglass arch.I can't believe how much I have fallen in love with the fibreglass arch. Yes, I hug it, snuggle up to it, hide behind it, and in general think it is the best thing since sliced bread. I hang my radar display from it, should have added my VHF from it, my out door tempreture gage is there and the lights that were already there are wonderful.....I am amazed at myself how I have changed. I keep wondering about other new boat ideas that I dismiss from my mind that I will discouver at a later date. I hope you find your boat with a fibreglass arch--my best to you,Les
