I have come to the decision new fenders are in my future.......... Cross road more like it. Does anyone have any experience with the newer Taylor Made survivor series verses the Big B series or the new Freedom fenders ????? I am in the 10" to 12 " diameter market.

While you're at it

Unless you already have one, also get a pump to maintain the pressure in those new fenders. You can use an inexpensive sports ball pump that has one of those needle nose ends inserted into the ball, or in your case, fender. Also get several spare needle nose ends as well as it is very easy to break them. Rubbing soap onto the needle nose ends before insertion will help prevent breakage.

Super Guard Fenders

I recently bought two new Taylor Made Super Gard Fenders. One leaked right out of the box, the inflation valve leaks all the air out in minutes. I haven't tried to return it yet, but will do so very soon.

De-fender also leak

I've got 4 De-fender fenders and 1 leaked from day one another is a slow leak and the other two ak perfect. The fast leaker leaks from the valve - it will blow bubbles - getting ready to send it back.

For my $ .02 Taylor Made are the ONLY way to go.

If they leak, The store gives you a new one. If they get cut, '' '' '' '' '' '' '' . If it bursts, '' '' '' '' '' '' '' . You can't go wrong!!! Tom s/v GAIA

Taylor-made gets my vote

I bought a used boat last year that had Taylor-made fenders. One had a slow leak. Took it to a BoatUS store with no receipt and they exchanged it immediately. No muss, no fuss.
