A couple years ago I had to reach into the head's under-sink cabinet to to cut off some length of the thru-hull. I thought about buying the Fein tool, but opted to doing the job with a hack saw. Busted knuckles and some research later, I ordered the Fein set. Have not used it as yet, but taking into account how often the Fein Tools are touted in these forums, perhaps you might want to watch them in use- and maybe learn a few things in the process?

Dear FEIN Friend,
Tune into Ellen's Design Challenge on HGTV Jan. 26th at 9pm EST. The challengers will be using many FEIN tools throughout the course of the show to build amazing furniture! Give us a shout on Facebook if you spot more FEIN tools being used on the show.
Sincerely

FEIN US

The Fein tools are great, but expensive. and I didn't like having to have an allen wrench to change blades. I bought a Porter Cable version, that has a quick change set up

they make them with a quick change hub now ...what i know abut the fein is that it does not vibrate your hand to numbness when using for long periods of time and yes they are pricey but if one has the time crags list is a good source along with the pawn shops i paid 65.00 for mine and it has the allen wrench hub but for 65.00 i will never complain and it is one of the few tools i have bought second hand if you buy used tools always look for the top of the line stuff

Plenty of knock offs these days at a fraction of the price.
