Nice!

What a great shot. She's looking like she's reading the telltales. :) Is she yours? If so you are very lucky.

Ava

She's my grand daughter, but she and her mother live with us right now. Mom is marrying a marine when he gets back from Iraq early next year, and then they're off to North Carolina. I've tried to convince her to leave Ava behind, but no go. So, I guess we'll be trailering the O'Day 25 out to the Atlantic a time or two.

Grandkids. . . .

always win. I think it is because we hope they will be what our children are not, sailors. Here are two of my four(so far).

Just Great

Herb, Beautiful little girl. There is a saying you have probably heard before, but will repeat it just to do so. If I had known grandkids were so much fun, I'd of had them first. Phil

Herb, I looked real close at Ava's pic...

It looks like she is saying, "Hey gramps stow that beer and get your meat on the rail!" :) You hit it on the head...they make it all worth while. BTW, tell your daughter that it makes me very proud that she is marrying a Marine serving our country in Iraq. Terry

She Loves the Boat

She can tell when I'm headed out to the boat, because of the hat. And no, she's not spoiled. I HATE seeing those little kids that get anything they want by simply demanding it. She's well behaved - we insist she say "please" before giving her anything she wants. And, I'll pass on the "thanks" to my daughter and her marine. This is is third tour. He volunteered for a third tour before he proposed. He's said since he wish he had done things a little differently, but we're hoping and praying for the best for him (and her).

Mine

As I'm catching my dock neighbor out on the bay, he's checking his telltales because I know it's eating him that I'm catching him.

Bath Time!

Tara had to wait until she was 2 months old before she went sailing. Her brother started at 2 & 1/2 weeks. But alas, she was born in December...Bath time is always a treat with warm sun shower water in the tote tub. Family sailing is tops! (No matter what age!)

na...

but it's always good to catch it on film. You see, my dock neighbor is one of those hunter haters and also doesn't think much of my abilities either. I took that picture and others for him but when I saw it on the computer, it made me laugh and is now my favorite picture.
