There's a big cruisers festival going in the San Juans this week. This year it is pirate-themed. This brings me to my new policy regarding the flying of the Jolly Roger:

First, if you want to fly a pirate flag, you may not motor unless you actually intend to take someone's boat by force.

Second, if you fly a pirate flag, I should be allowed to fire on you and take your boat. There's got to still be a law on the books that allows this.

I think you are allowed to use water balloons and water cannons. You need a Letter of Mark though !

Water balloon launchers.

I have a pair of handhelds, a pair of 100 yard throwers, and a 400 yard thrower.

Gentlemen, thank you for the idea. A couple sailing friends intend to surround and capture one of our lake pirates who is flying the jolly roger, take his woman (if she is purty) disable his boat, steal his beer, and leave him tied to the mast. the victim will be culled out of the Saturday morning sailing club race and posted on YouTube.
