I recently bought a new engine control panel (tacho, oil pressure, water temp, start, stop and alarms ) on HunterOwners. The panel is a perfect replacement for my 2001 H410, but once wired in, the water temperature shows about 210F (I measured it at 172 F in reality) and the oil pressure shows 10psi higher than before. The shop manual for the 4JH does not indicate any calibrations.
What is wrong? do I need new senders with this nearly identical panel?
Many thanks

Well the question would be whether the gauges match the senders. I don't know how you could have gotten an OEM replacement panel for a Hunter 410 since 5 years ago when I tired to get a gauge it wasn't available anymore and I had to get a different one and a new sender to match it.

OTOH - does it really matter what the gauges read as long as you know what is normal for your boat?

Probably need a new sender for the oil. Usually don't need one for the temp.
