Both of my faucets (head and galley) leak at the pump handle. I also snapped the hose attachment on one trying to tighten it. I guess I'm experiencing what many of you have written about the plumbing on these boats. I scoured the internet for new faucets or parts and have come up empty. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bruce, The faucets are the only real gripe I have had about my 1997 h26. I replaced them both with much better quality ones from West Marine. The one in the galley operates with a foot pump. They have been installed for several years and both work perfectly. David King "Molly"

faucets-Fynspray
I have replaced my faucets with Fynspray faucets found in WestMarine. The work great and are easy to install as the existing hole is exactly the right size. I have also put one way flow valves below my faucets so a column of water is near the faucet so they prime faster. ct

Like Corky I replaced the stock pump faucets with Fynspray pumps from West Marine. Worked much better, but recently I replaced them again with a shurflo pump at the tank and two single handle faucets from West Marine Catalog. Should have done it sooner - big difference...

WM catalog pg 519 For the same money ($140) you might want to think about installing an automatic shurflow pump (see pg 509) at the tank and replacing the faucets. (pg 514) of catalog for faucets. I installed the Basin Tap Faucet 5473418 V51K11D-EC $20.99. I think the Deck tap on pg 515 5358189 for $30.00 on pg 515 will work also. It was a fairly easy job to wire the pump and installing the faucets is no more difficult than replacing the hand pumps.

JC Whitney - Same as stock
Bruce, I replaced mine with ones from JC Whitney (see link below). They appear to be an exact match to stock and came with a back flow preventing valve with a barbed attachment. Price was 26.95 and they work just fine. I believe the part# was 179350. Good luck! Pat
